Welcome to www.pepscarpet.com (the "Site"), operated by Pep's Carpet Repair ("we," "us," or "our"). By using this Site or requesting a quote or service through it, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Services
Pep's Carpet Repair provides carpet restretching, seam repair, patchwork, rework, and small installation services in Nebraska and Iowa. Descriptions of services on the Site are provided for general informational purposes and do not constitute a binding offer.
2. Quotes and Estimates
Any quote or estimate provided through the Site, by phone, email, or in person is an estimate only, based on the information and images you provide. Final pricing may vary once we assess the project in person, and we will communicate any changes before beginning work. Quotes are not binding contracts until both parties agree to a final scope and price.
3. Scheduling
Appointment times are coordinated directly with you and are subject to change based on availability, weather, material availability, or other factors outside our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any scheduling changes.
4. Customer Responsibilities
To help us complete your project safely and accurately, you agree to:
(1) Provide accurate information about the project and job site
(2) Clear the work area of furniture, valuables, or obstructions where reasonably possible, unless otherwise arranged
(3) Disclose any known hazards (e.g., pets, structural issues, prior repairs) relevant to the job
5. Limitation of Liability
While we take care in performing all work, carpet repair involves inherent variability (e.g., dye lot differences, existing wear, pre-existing damage). To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pep's Carpet Repair is not liable for:
(1) Pre-existing damage or wear not caused by our work
(2) Cosmetic differences due to carpet age, sun fading, or discontinued materials
(3) Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from services provided
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for damage directly caused by our negligence during the performance of a job, which will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
6. Payment
Payment terms will be communicated at the time of quote or invoicing. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the service.
7. Third-Party Links
Our Site may link to third-party platforms such as Facebook or Instagram. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third-party sites.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
